Who We Are

Here's the shop

Downtown Lakeland. Classic barbering done right: straight razors, hot towels, clean fades, in a room that looks the part.

Our clients run the full range, from high schoolers getting their first real fade to dads who want the beard dialed in and the cut detailed. They come back because the work is good and the conversation is better.

We're upscale without the attitude. The place looks high-end, but the door's open to anyone who walks in, and the guy in work boots gets treated exactly like the guy in the suit. That's the culture here: professionalism, courtesy, and actually talking to people.

Who We're Looking For

This isn't a first-job chair.

We're looking for barbers who are past the apprentice stage. Established, licensed, and confident with whatever walks through the door.

That means you can handle:

  • Fades, tapers, and skin fades

  • Beard trims, straight-razor shaves, and hot towel service

  • Kids' cuts, scissor work, and long hair

  • Textured and afro hair

  • Blow-dry styling

If you also do facial treatments, head massage, freestyle design, or braiding, even better. That's the kind of range clients notice and tell their friends about.

But skill is only half of it. The barbers who do well here are personable. They build relationships, they remember names, they're the reason a client books with them and not the shop down the street. And they pull their weight. We look out for each other and share the load.

How We Work

Here's what we expect from our team:

We'll be straight with you about what we expect, because it saves everybody time.

Show up. Reliability isn't a bonus here, it's the job. If you're booked, you're there. Clients plan their week around you, and so does the rest of the shop.

Post your work. Social media is how this business grows now. We expect you putting your cuts out there regularly. It fills your chair and it fills the shop.

Keep your standards up. Not just the first two weeks. The barbers who last here are the ones whose tenth month looks like their first: same energy, same quality, same care.

Take care of the client. Aim for the result they came in for, and stay reasonable when it gets tricky. If you can't get there, bring the owner in and we'll figure it out together, before it turns into a bad review or a lost regular.

The chairs here run five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. That's the rhythm of the shop.

Think this might be your chair?

Let's talk. Tell us a little about yourself, send over your Instagram or a few photos of your work, and we'll set up a time to meet in person and walk you through how everything works.

No long application. No hoops. Just a conversation between barbers about whether this is the right fit.
